Indian Ridge Historic Project Website

The Indian Ridge Historic Project website is maintained to share and educate those interested in Mid Century Modern Architecture.  Our neighborhood is unique to the desert southwest where burdt adobe block from Mexico was one of the primary building material which when maintained and sealed properly will last for many years in this blazing sun.

About us

Included in this website is information about the University Indian Ruins where the first residents of this ridge resided and how the neighborhood acquired its name.

Anne Rysdale

Part of our collection posted on this website is a piece of very rare Arizona architecture history.  Over 200 original floorplans from the ground breaking architect Anne Rysdale.  She was the only registered female architect practicing in Arizona from 1949 to the early 1960's.
